  • On-Line Programming

    Since 2014, I’ve been digging deep into the programming world. Through many trial and errors, I started having success with my method of programming.

    Most competitive athletes typically lack structure. They get in their heads that volume is the only way. The reality is, proper volume is the only way.

    I believe that athletes can have success with most programming out there on the market. It really comes down to liking what you’re doing, while gaining the results that you desire.

    Everything I program has a reason. I don’t guess. I don’t throw stuff on paper. I plan everything out into an 8 week cycle to maximize your growth in that period of time.

  • Athlete Camp

    Over the last 8 years, I’ve been blessed working with some amazing athletes, in and outside of CrossFit Excess. Through this process, I’ve had the ability to learn many things that help athletes take their training to the next level.

    I’ve worked with athletes from the CrossFit Games, to Regionals, to Granite Games, USAW Junior Nationals, Masters Fitness Collective, and other local/large CrossFit competitions that happen almost every weekend.

  • Programming for GPP to Competitors

    Do you program for your 99% or the 1% of your membership? If you program for the GPP only side, you won’t challenge your top athletes and they will end up finding a place to workout that does.

    If you only program for your top 1%, you’ll loose many of your members and your gym will fail as a result.

    There is a way to program for your entire gym, fuel and push your competitive athletes, all while bringing the fitness level up on the GPP athletes.

    That is what I’m going to teach you!

    In a world where people still program Scaled, Rx, and Rx+, it just blows my mind. You’re literally giving your membership and option to not challenge themselves on any given day they want.

    Coaching is quickly becoming a lost art and it’s not due to effort. I believe it’s due to coaches not having mentors and being thrusted into coaching to help cover classes.

    I will never consider myself a great coach, but I am hands down a better version of myself since 2014 when we opened our affiliate.

    I’m here to help you streamline, manage, assess, and correct your athletes. We are not managers of the clock, we are professionals that have been given an opportunity and trust by our paying membership to give them the absolute best!

    We cover a lot of the everyday things I see women athletes struggle with, not only physically, but MENTALLY. You’re going to learn a ton about YOURSELF on several different levels that you’ll be able to apply on and off of the WOD floor.

    There will be some lectures covering several topics. Body Image, Comparing yourself to others, Never being good enough for you, among other things.

  • Practical Olympic Lifting Clinic (How to apply to CrossFit)

    When competing at any level of CrossFit, most events only have one score that’s for a max lift. Most of the time, it’s a clean or snatch, even versions of. The other events are catered towards overall fitness and this often includes barbell cycling.

    Getting setup on a lift and executing it, there is a time and place. Moving your 80% efficiently in the middle of workout, that’s no longer Olympic Lifting.

    What if I told you that you have the capacity to perform better but you just don’t know how to utilize it? There is a lot of information we fail to unlock about ourselves that would equate to higher performances on every aspect.

    Those who may lack the capacity are in luck! Capacity can be trained over a broad time through different techniques and when you do so, it will forever change your approach to workouts.

  • Mobility/Flexibility/Stability Clinic

    Injuries happen in each and every sport, yes even in CrossFit. I’ve never told a single person that they can not become injured inside CrossFit. Those who do, they are painting a false reality to the person asking the question.

    Anything you’re doing that is dynamic can result in injury. While this may be the case, I often see people injure themselves due to not taking proper care of their bodies. Or, even worse, ignoring the symptoms their body is giving them and pushing through the pain.

    This course is designed to give you as much information to help PREVENT injuries from occurring. If an injury does happen, you’ll also have the tools how to treat and bounce back from it quickly.
